Single Source Technologies, representing Makino as well as other high end machine tool products, is a single-source provider of machine tools, engineering services, tooling, supplies, application support and customer service throughout North America.

SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated, energetic professional Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks directly supporting the Director of Sales.  We are looking for an administrative business partner to help manage the efforts of the entire sales team.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITIES include the following for all areas. Others may be assigned.

  • Provide support for Director of SST Sales which will included calendar maintenance, travel arrangements and submitting and reconciling expense reports.
  • Assist with the planning and executing of Sales meetings on site or at the various satellite offices.
  • Assist with confidential correspondence, reports, monthly Scorecards, quarterly Performance Report Cards, Business Plan, quarterly Financial letter, quarterly business reviews and yearly business plan.
  • Contribute to the Administrative team effort by supporting others as needed.

  • Proficiency in software including Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Access and proficiency or ability to learn software such as SAP.

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills; self motivated.
  • Decision-making and management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential or sensitive information.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to off site sales meetings/presentations.  



Required Experience
  • 2-5 years of administrative support experience.
  • Two year business degree or similar program preferred.
